Meals on Wheels Non Sibi Project with Marcia McCabe '73

Join Marcia McCabe ’73 for this longstanding non sibi project with Citymeals on Wheels. Citymeals on Wheels provides a continuous lifeline of nourishing meals for homebound elderly. In previous years, Andover volunteers have helped to deliver meals. This year, the organization is asking for fifteen Andover volunteers to help with packaging meals.

Volunteers should plan to meet by 9 a.m. at the Encore Community Services located in the basement of St. Malachy's Church. The project will run until 11 a.m. As a thank you for your time and non sibi spirit, Marcia will host a brunch for all volunteers after the project at a restaurant (TBD) nearby.

In addition to registering below, Citymeals on Wheels requires volunteers to register directly through their Volunteer Portal. Details on how to create an account and register are included in the confirmation email. Given the vulnerable population that this project serves, Citymeals on Wheels also requires volunteers to be vaccinated against COVID-19. 

Volunteers must be 18 years or older.
